The most attractive age for females is between 20 and 29. After this range, males tend to prefer someone younger.
There are two factors at play here. First, as humans grow older, they appear more wrinkled and worn out. Men want to see signs of youth and vitality in women they date. If a woman has good genes, she won't show many signs of aging until later in life.
The second factor is culture. In some countries, such as India, people believe that younger is better. They think that if you're old, you must have been pretty bad in your previous life to end up with wrinkles and gray hair. This isn't true, but it does make them look even more attractive compared to women who are older but not yet ancient.

It concluded that men gain weight and lose facial hair as they age while women grow older and more wrinkled but remain attractive until at least age 40. After that, they start losing their good looks.

There are several factors likely responsible for this trend. First of all, there's the physical factor. It's been shown time and time again that people prefer younger faces over older ones. So if you're old, get plastic surgery!
Secondly, there's the fact that young people are seen as more energetic and vibrant than older people. This is probably due to the fact that we feel better about ourselves when we have more positive energy!
And finally, there's the fact that we want to be around for our children. The study notes that mothers are most attractive when they are around twenty years old because they're still in their prime reproductive age while still looking youthful themselves. Fathers are most attracted to younger women because they expect them to become mothers one day too!
Individually, some women in their forties will be more appealing than women in their twenties. The most gorgeous women in their 40s will be more appealing than the majority of women in their 20s. However, when vast averages are considered, women in their early twenties will be the most beautiful group. Women in their forties come in second.
The most beautiful women in their 40s are those with perfect faces, great bodies, and high cheekbones. They have the ability to make even the most ordinary woman appear stunning.
Women in their twenties have the advantage of time on their side. They can work on their appearance and hire a makeup artist to help them look their best. Many young celebrities have become famous for their beauty routines on social media. Women in their thirties and forties need only focus on looking good from the neck up.
Skin quality and elasticity start to deteriorate as you age. The face becomes less symmetrical and more marked by lines and wrinkles. Breast size may be reduced because of surgery or illness. These are all factors that reduce a woman's appeal but not everyone loses their looks at the same time. Some women continue to be attractive into their late forties while others look their worst right at the beginning of puberty.
