When do you ask yourself, is it a date or hanging out?

Sara Svendsen, 25, has asked herself that question when out with boys and admits she's been mistaken "on all sides of it." Her buddies have done the same. It's a common topic among their groups of friends.

They often ask each other if they're just going out for a night of fun or if there's a romantic aspect to it. The answer usually depends on the person being asked and their relationship with the man in question.

Some say they know the first date will only be a date while others may assume there could be something more serious between two people. Either way, it's a question that should never be answered by anyone other than the person involved.

It's also not an issue that should ever come up during a first date. If someone brings it up, walk away from the conversation before it becomes apparent whether or not there's a romantic interest.

First dates are supposed to be fun; if you feel like you need to ask yourself if the date is more than that then perhaps you shouldn't be going on dates in the first place!

When do your friends know you should be dating?

Even if you don't believe it, your buddies know who you should be dating. They can tell when you're in love with a new guy and when something is off about this time. The same is true when things go too quickly and you're not with the appropriate person. Their opinions matter because they see more of you than you think; trust us, they have plenty to say.

Your friends will always have your back in a relationship. Sometimes we need someone to talk to about our problems or just to hang out with. When you have friends, you'll always have a reason to stay in touch with them. That means you'll always have an ear to listen with if you have questions or issues that need to be discussed.

Your friends are here for you when you need them most. No matter how busy you may be, there's always time to call your friends. It may not be easy to take time out of your day but knowing that they care enough to check up on you goes a long way. You can even use texting to communicate quickly with your friends when you don't have time for a full conversation.

If you've ever had to move, you know how difficult it can be. From packing up all of your stuff to changing your phone number, moving can be a lot of work. But having friends helps because they know you can't always afford a helper.

Is it weird to ask someone out you barely know?

Unless there is anything clearly wrong going on, such as she being underage, it is quite acceptable for a guy to approach someone he is interested in and ask if she wants to meet. Not honoring her requests if she says no will not make him disappear, nor should that stop you from trying.

The easiest way to do this is by using online dating sites. There are many dating sites out there, but only one that we recommend: Zoosk. It's free to sign up and easy to use. You can search by location and interest to find people close by or around the world who share your passions. Then send a message asking them out on a date!

Dating apps have really changed the game when it comes to meeting new people. Before apps were around, meeting people would usually mean going to bars or parties where you might run into them again later on down the road. But now that apps are so popular, it has become easier than ever to connect with others online instead!

People use apps like Tinder to see who is around nearby - that's how popular it is! The idea is the same as other dating sites, you look at photos of other users and if they match your preferences you "swipe left" on them. If not, you swipe right and move on to the next photo.

Do you know what to ask before moving in together?

"If you've been dating for a while, you probably know what shows you like, your social style, and if you're a morning or night person," Syrtash noted. However, now that you're formally sharing a place, it's a good idea to develop a structure. Perhaps one of you is more spontaneous than the other. That's okay — just make sure you don't let this force you into living separately.

You should discuss these issues early on: finances, housework, responsibility, and privacy. Are you able to pay the rent on your own? If not, who will? Will you be responsible for all the bills, or can the other person help out? What kind of schedule do you have planned for cleaning, cooking, and caring for each other? Is a lockbox necessary? These are all important questions to answer before you move in together, so be sure to cover them during your discussions.

Most importantly, be honest with yourself and with each other. If you aren't ready for a serious relationship, then start planning your future life together now. You don't want to be forced into a relationship because of financial reasons.

The last thing you want is to get into a situation where you're not compatible as friends first, but you stay together out of obligation. This way lies heartache and loneliness.

So, before you move in together, decide on the type of relationship you want.

When do women ask you how many girls you have been with?

"Really, how many ladies have you dated?" "You mean tonight?" you ask. "C'mon, how many girls have you been with?" she says. "You know, I really lost count after 50," you say (or something outrageous). When a lady asks you this question, she is looking for confirmation of her suspicions. NEVER GIVE HER THIS PLEASURE. ALWAYS ANSWER WITH A NUMBER GREATER THAN ONE.

For example: "I'd have to say about 100." She smiles and nods her head in agreement. You continue, "But then again, what's important is not the number itself but rather how you feel about each girl you've been with." She nods again and takes your hand reaching for hers. You both smile as you realize that you had been together just like that - one hundred times!

Asking how many girls is a classic dating question for a reason. It's a great way for a woman to see if you are a good lover because she will be comparing your performance with other men. If you're lucky, she might even let you sleep over!

The most important thing is that you always answer with a number greater than one. This will give you freedom of speech and help you lie without lying. Every time you say "I don't know" or "I couldn't possibly say" you are giving up your right to marry her. Do yourself and her a favor and get real!

What is dating vs. hanging out?

If you're on a date, you'll most likely see each other alone or with another couple. If you spend the entire time with a group of other individuals, such as the other person's buddy group, you're most likely simply hanging out. Sometimes these groups will have names such as "the boys" or "the girls," but they're not necessary.

In addition to who's around him/her, a person's emotional state determines how they act. If you're feeling sad or depressed, it's easy to see that you can't really have any kind of meaningful interaction with others. You might make an effort (especially if you know someone is looking forward to seeing you), but ultimately, you wouldn't be doing so in the hope of getting something from them. This is different than when you have a good time with people; even if you don't think about them until later, there's a good chance that they'd like to see you again too.

People also hang out with others if they feel like they have something in common with them. For example, if you like sports and some guy at the bar does too, there's a good chance that you'd get along with him. Even if you have nothing else in common, you might still want to see what he's all about without wanting to sleep with him. Finally, if no one else is around, you might just want to have some privacy too!
