Cam Fisher's Cam Fisher's Cam, Claire Lyons' on-again, off-again boyfriend, first appears in the second novel. He is described as having black hair and two distinct colored eyes in the first few volumes (one blue and one green). Later on in the series, it is revealed that he is part vampire.
They have a on-and-off relationship for most of the time between the two novels. She loves him but he drives her insane at times.
At the beginning of THE CLIQUE OF CAIN, they are breaking up for good. He doesn't trust her not to tell someone about their secret world and wants nothing to do with it anymore. However, this changes later on.
In THE REVENGE OF GAIUS PONTIS, it is revealed that he is alive and well and living in Italy. It is also hinted that they might get back together again someday.

After being compelled to marry for Claire's safety, the couple falls madly in love with intense sexual chemistry. Their affection for one another is highlighted throughout the series. Although initially given only a year together, they eventually married after three years.
It is strongly suggested that they are the perfect couple: he's rich and powerful; she's beautiful and talented. However, it is also revealed that under this perfect exterior lies a very dark secret that will threaten their marriage and possibly their lives.
They have two children together: Mary who is born first and then Elizabeth who is born later. Despite her marital status, Claire is listed as the mother of both children.
It is also revealed late in the series that she loves him even though he does not return her feelings.
Finally, at the end of the series, they divorce but remain friends. She moves back in with her family while he goes abroad for work.
Claire loves Lord John but cannot find the courage to tell him. In the end, it is implied that he realizes she cares for him but has no chance with someone like him. They part on good terms and she can go home again.
Nonetheless, it was never a full-fledged dating relationship. Claire declared unequivocally that she could not be romantically connected with him, just as a nurse. Nothing transpired between Matt and Claire in Daredevil Season 2, but the tension remained.
Their relationship became more flirtatious in Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series. In the first episode of the third season, "The Kingpin"', they share a kiss which leads to an intense sexual encounter. This begins to heat up the story line between them.
They also share a passionate kiss in "Out of Time". This once again sparks their relationship up from where it left off in the second season. It is then revealed by Charlie Cox (Daredevil) that this is all part of his plan to win back his love, Jessica Jones (AKA Hero).
In the end, he succeeds in winning her heart again. They resume their previous kissing scene without any interference from Matt Murdock this time around.
So here we can see that despite being a superhero, Matt Murdock still has a romantic side to him. He is just too good at hiding it. Or maybe he is just too busy saving people to worry about romance. Either way, it seems like Claire and Matt will finally get together at some point in the future episodes.
