Kai from EXO is the first Korean model and worldwide brand ambassador for the Italian fashion house Gucci. He has been representing the brand since 2015 after being chosen by chief creative officer Alessandro Michele.
Gucci opened its first store in South Korea in 2017 at the company-owned mall The Gucci Store in Seoul. The country was then followed by London, where another store was opened earlier this year. There are now plans to expand into Japan and China later this year or in 2021.
